Meeting Rooms & Facilities
   

The Meriden Public Library maintains meeting rooms primarily for library-related activities. Programs may be sponsored or cosponsored by the library related to furthering the use of the library materials and resources. Library activities receive priority, but groups and individuals are permitted to use the meeting rooms when they are not needed for library activities, and do not interfere with regular library use. MERIDEN PUBLIC LIBRARY MEETING ROOM POLICY (revised 9/2008)


MERIDEN PUBLIC LIBRARY MEETING ROOM APPLICATION 

                                          
    Because of the demand, applications for the use of library meeting rooms must be submitted in writing at least (2) months prior to the date of the meeting.  NO BOOKINGS WILL BE ACCEPTED OVER THE PHONE. Library policy governing the use of meeting rooms is outlined in the Meeting Room Policy.  Falsifying information on this application will result in the immediate revocation of permission to use library meeting rooms. The library reserves the right to refuse or revoke permission for the use of meetings room to any group, organization, or individual. All groups using rooms must vacate the room no later than (20) twenty minutes before the library’s closing time.

Handicapped Accessibility includes parking in front of the building as well as on the side. The library is one level and is completely wheelchair accessible, including the meeting room.

Computers for public use include personal computers with office applications available during regular library hours. Computers with Internet access are also available for walk-in use only. See the INTERNET & COMPUTER USE GUIDELINES

Photocopy machines are available at the library.

Parking at the library is behind and to the side of the building accessible from both Liberty and  Miller Streets. There is also a parking lot on Catlin Street.
